TL;DR
This update makes the Wrench.ai AI assistant noticeably sharper and the platform more dependable day to day. The assistant now picks the right tool for what you ask, handles connected tools like Microsoft Teams and Notion more gracefully, and keeps searching instead of giving up on the first miss. On the web app and Chrome plugin, we cleared a batch of friction points across the creative library, lead scoring, contact data, and external-tool connections — so the things you do every day just work.
A Smarter AI Assistant
We rewrote how the assistant understands every action it can take, so it chooses the right tool for the task and stops offering to do things it can’t. The result is fewer dead ends and answers you can trust. Highlights:
- Manage competitors in plain conversation. Add, list, and restore competitors just by asking — and the changes appear everywhere in the platform right away.
- Pull Teams meeting transcripts by name. Ask for a Microsoft Teams transcript using the meeting’s name or subject. No internal IDs, no guesswork.
- Smoother Notion connections. You can now point the assistant at a Notion database by URL, and when something isn’t found it tells you clearly what to do next.
- More persistent search. If a search across a connected tool comes up empty, the assistant automatically tries alternative phrasings instead of stopping at the first miss.
- Faster, more accurate answers about your data. The assistant now uses its built-in tools to answer questions about your Wrench.ai data directly.
- Clearer responses, fewer false errors. A meeting with no recording now returns a plain explanation rather than looking like a failure, and creating an assistant with a name that already exists simply opens the existing one.

Web App & Plugin Reliability
A wide set of fixes that improve accuracy and remove friction in your daily workflow:
- Accurate contact intelligence. Your contact source breakdown now counts per contact, so accounts with multiple imports show the right numbers, and lead score results now appear reliably after a new model run.
- A cleaner creative library. Removing ads from the creative library now works smoothly, and library totals reflect your full library rather than just the page you’re viewing.
- A more dependable Chrome plugin. LinkedIn profile data now always lands on the correct contact, even with multiple tabs open.
- Reliable external connections. Connecting external tools and automations to Wrench.ai by API key now works consistently.
- Smoother setup and billing. Assistant icons display correctly during setup, quick-start prompts save as expected, and renewals and upgrades now update your subscription status right away.
