Wrench.ai Release 4.14 ships a meaningful expansion of what your AI assistant can do directly in conversation — managing contacts, filing bug reports, delivering structured Slack notifications — along with a set of reliability fixes for scheduled prompts, conversation history, and thread ordering.
What’s New
Contact Management From Chat
You can now ask your AI assistant to add, find, update, or remove a contact in your Wrench workspace — directly in conversation. No need to navigate away to manage your contacts. The assistant handles disambiguation automatically: if a search returns multiple matches, it confirms the right person before making any change. This works without requiring a HubSpot or external CRM connector.
Bug Reporting Via the Assistant
If something breaks mid-conversation, tell the assistant and it files a detailed report with the Wrench team automatically. You can also ask the assistant to check the status of a report you’ve filed. No more hunting for a support form while you’re mid-task.
Slack Notifications — Structured Cards
Messages sent by the AI assistant to Slack now use structured Block Kit format with interactive action buttons, replacing plain-text notifications. Task updates are easier to read and act on at a glance.
Notion Connection Guidance
When a Notion page or database hasn’t been shared with the Wrench integration, the assistant now gives you step-by-step instructions to fix it — rather than surfacing a cryptic error or failing silently. You’ll know exactly what to do to unblock the task.
Outlook Calendar Event IDs
After creating a calendar event via Outlook, Wrench now captures and surfaces the event ID — making it possible to reference or update the event in future conversations.
Bug Fixes
Scheduled Prompts Now Execute Reliably (v4.13.7)
Scheduled prompt runs — both manual triggers and cron-based schedules — now execute as expected. A missing configuration in the service environment was causing all scheduled runs to fail silently at startup. This is resolved.
Conversation History Retained Across Turns (v4.13.6)
The assistant now reliably retains the complete history of each conversation across turns. Each message is durably written before processing begins, ensuring the assistant always has the full context of your prior turns when it responds. Previously, this could silently fail, causing the assistant to lose context mid-conversation.
Thread List Now Sorts by Recent Activity (v4.13.5)
Your conversation thread list now sorts by most recent activity, rather than by when the thread was first created. The most relevant conversations surface at the top.
Scheduled Prompts With Attachments (v4.13.5)
Saving or updating a scheduled prompt that includes file attachments no longer returns a server error. This works correctly across all attachment types.
Contact Search — Clearer No-Results Response (v4.13.5)
When no contacts match a search query, the assistant now clearly states that no results were found. Previously it could produce a confused or fabricated response when a search returned nothing.
What This Means for You
For Marketing Teams: Contact management from chat means your agent can keep your audience database current as you work — add a new lead, update a contact’s details, or remove a duplicate — without breaking your flow. Pair this with Serendipity AI Creative to keep your targeting data fresh as you build campaigns.
For Sales Teams: Reliable conversation history means your assistant remembers the full context of a deal conversation, not just the last message. Multi-turn sales workflows — researching a prospect, drafting an email, following up — now work seamlessly across a single session. See Advanced AI Agents for what your sales agent can do.
For Leadership: Scheduled prompt reliability means your automated reporting workflows now run when scheduled — consistently, without manual intervention. The bug reporting capability means any team member can flag an issue in seconds without leaving their workflow. Explore the Analytics Agent for automated intelligence delivery.
